I posted the linked thread in !dabradio. There are zero comments in my view from fedia.io. However, when logged into another account, I can see a reply in that thread. The reply is from 4 days ago -- much longer than I would expect from a network syncing lag.

Ok, I am not yet 100% sure, but I believe this is related to another problem reported, which is that the web server that fedia runs on was running out of open files, causing incoming connections to periodically and intermittently error out, and that was happening a lot. I've fixed that issue, and now I will keep an eye on whether new things from that instance/magazine are coming in as they should.
