What does the fetch tool use to display a unpixelated, un-asciiified picture in the terminal?
TechnoCat@piefed.social · 9 pts · 163d
sixel or kitty image protocol. You need a terminal that supports it.

Sam: Here ya go, Max, have your very own store.
Max: Oh goody! Now I can use it as a convenient front to make a fortune selling weapons of suspect origin in bulk to third world countries!
Sam: You're the President, idiot.
Max: Oh, right. I guess I don't need a front, then. You can keep it.

Sam and Max damn. I suggest Sir / Maam adds a little translucency to Konsole.

It's a week known fact that Al Yankovic is a well known activist against open source everything. He started a ranting campaign against it in the early 80's.
Weird Al Yankovic is the patron saint of everything open source. He also eats Corn Dogs like a fucking monster.

Don't understand, is he for or against FOSS?
Canadian_Cabinet@lemmy.ca · 10 pts · 163d
Who cares about his thoughts on FOSS. He killed Pablo Escobar so he gets a pass in my book

I would’ve paid for this crossover.

No, not much, but a happy smiling selfie is seriously not a bad idea!
When we smile to our selves once a day in front of a mirror, we tend to mimic that emotion so we can manipulate our own mood in a deliberate feedback. (There are papers on it).
That is hard to habituate for some of us, so having a smiling selfie on your desktop will continuously nudge you towards ..a happier mood than otherwise. ..in theory at least ;-)
