I thought I'd have a go at reviving a dormant community, and see if there are any other founders or entrepreneurs out in the Fediverse.
Just founded my first company after a long stint in the tech industry working for others. It's been exhausting, fun, maddening and humbling.
We just had the honor of being rejected by Y Combinator yesterday for the S26 batch but we're undaunted and using it as an opportunity to double down on building and getting traction!

Founder/startup resources:
I may edit this later, but those are the crucial ones, just off the top of my head..
Better success through more-competent understanding, eh?

Definitely. Always learning!
I've found the Founders Pocket Guide series by Stephen Poland particularly useful. It's a three part set covering valuation, term sheets and cap tables. As a technical founder, this isn't my native territory!

A not-for-profit keiretsu-of-keiretsu.
the most-involved business-plan this planet has ever encountered.
Multiphase, obviously..
2026, publishing some stuff, aquiring a market "face".
Then pull-paradigm creating whichever component of my vast business-plan it is, that traction exists for.
A keiretsu is essentially a country-made-of-companies, or an organism-whose-organs-are-companies.
Panasonic is a horizontal-keiretsu, Toyota is vertical.
Horizontal-keiretsu are marketshare effective, vertical-keiretsu are profit efficient.
I'm targetting making horizontal-keiretsu efficient.
But a keiretsu is a semi-autonomous-economy ( hence they are less-affected by market-swings, bubbles & crashes ).
Chris Argyris wrote on 'em, in one of his Blackwell Business encyclopedias..
Imagine a network-of-companies who are all public-benefit companies or not-for-profit companies, making certain that all the nationally-required economic components are present & operating...
No for-profit-company can remove the country's bus-line, or the country's passenger-rail, or the country's supermarket-availability, because we will own part of every domain.
Machiavellian profiteering butchering lives? We'll be competing against them.
Enforcing market-honesty, see?
Making our countries robust to monopoly-failures, too.
It's interesting, but .. I don't think anybody'd care, until it's actually opererating, & that isn't going to happen until late 2026, at the earliest.
Just sit back & enjoy the show, if it ever becomes real..
The ocean-of-understandings required to prevent normal-wrong-architectures .. has been staggering to earn, through decades..
It doesn't take long to earn an MBA, but to earn enough to do what I"m working-on, took autistic-decades of study.
& don't worry: if it does launch, it'll be noticeable: you'll see it.
In the mean time, others are worth paying attention to, & just ignore me, until launch happens.
