I’ve tried using multiple apps, and about to try via web. It always throws an error and says I can’t block them.
Is there some reason why it couldn’t be done? It works for literally every other instance.
Edit: looks like my instance already blocks it. So maybe this was a stupid question.

If you have learned something new, it wasn't a stupid question

A friend used to say: "No such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers"

It's not a stupid question but rather bad exception handling. The error message you get when trying this should tell you why it is not working.

…sorry, had a stackoverflow stroke there.

The only instance I've blocked is the MAGA one. Despite the asshole mods I have had pleasant interactions with users on annoying instances. I think I'd be missing out if I blocked them.
