What "age verification"? Why the fuck would OS require that?

It's started with a law in California that requires all Operating Systems to keep and provide the age of the person using the device. Several other states have followed with stronger laws requiring full third party verification of user id that the OS must implement and keep. Brazil has already had theirs go into effect.

Currently, in Linux, systemd implemented a date of birth field for local users. Nobody wants this.
