If this were offered when I were a child, I'd have done it. The thought makes me sad, now.

I have a friend who has severe autism, bipolar disorder, and a number of other things. His early life was very rough, school was not nice to him. Once we left high school, it took him a few years but he's made a nice life for himself, something he finds comfort in, he's happy most days.
Reading this article makes me feel like these younger people haven't been given enough of a chance to really experience life and what could be for them.
Granted I have a sample size of one.

I didn't know any place had assisted suicide but he was 18. What % is actually happy. If I wasnt playing rts are watching anime I was moody.
