This is beautiful! I look forward to your next project, where you make a Japanese hand tool box for your Japanese hand tools using your Japanese hand tools and * made out of * Japanese hand tools.

Ill use my japanese handtools from my japanese handtoolbox to create more japanese handtools to fill new japanese handtool boxes that I will need to build with my japanese handtools.

Very nice! I’m planning to make one of these soon. Can you post pictures of the bottom, and maybe of one of the trays?

The bottom of is plywood and there are no trays but just some dividers.

Box is sweet. Can we get a break down of the tools?

The tools are just the handtools I use the most.

Buts 3 cheap factory made chisels, a cheap japanese kanna 45mm and s mortice gauge. No fancy stuff, but with proper tuning I get good results with them. A couple og Japanese saws, a hammer and some measuring tools.
