For anyone wondering, this is from Wonder Showzen, and the text is actually what she says in the show.

He'll prolly be splattered on the pavement well before the revolution. These people were jumping outta windows in 08.

Ha. Wall Street traders made bank on the crash. Regular people lost everything. Traders went home to their mansions.

kind of depends, we've had a 20y+ bull market...there are loads of people in finance/traders who have never seen a crash. ultimately crashes as a a great filter of sort, showing who really knows casino works from those that think they know how it works.

either way, they reinforce skyscraper windows now so unlikely to be any jumpers.

Traders today don't risk their own money. They are the casino workers, not the gamblers. When the market collapses they aren't affected. Because they are insiders, they will make even more money on shorts before regular people even know what is happening.

When Reddit was shitting itself over GME some of the actual professional types would try to explain to the dorks that they make money on your trades regardless and would get mass downvoted.
