Holy shit.

I dodged a bullet there! My mom got me one of those kits but I never used it because I wasn't really that interested. And now I've avoided giving Blackstone my DNA!

I do not really get it, either...

Unless, of course, it is going to be used for ethically questionable applications, like informing the insurance industry of how to insure people as they hold their collective DNA on record.

I can’t help but feel like the data collected that’s been collected will be used for some sort of malicious purpose, like denying health insurance claims.
