Sprecher rulet beer is like Barq’s without the bite

Tried it for the first time recently and it’s honestly the best hands down

I think the bite is one of the most appealing things about barqs

Exactly, barqs without a bite is like breathing air without oxygen

And Sprecher sponsors a firetruck that dispenses beer at county parks all summer and donates the profits to the local park system.

How does it compare to 1919 root beer?

Hawke@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 162d

Different but good.

It’s a little sweet for my taste.

I like it better than 1919 personally. It's very sweet and made with honey, which you can taste, but its good imo. I do like my root beer to have more bite to it though.

This is a staple of Menards. When I die I hope I wake up in a Menards store front, smelling cut pine with a Sprechers in my hand.

Fire brewed crafter soda? That's not beer.
