Yucca roots like crazy, just place in soil and occasionally water and you should be fine.

I don't think you could kill a yukka if you tried. Currently trying to kill some, is more difficult than you'd think.

Is that not a solid trunk in the center? The brown spots are dormant buds do like others are saying, you should be fine

Two have a brown trunk, the other two look like there were still leaves below when they were cut off
