Day 4 of working on my album "Murky Mind"
Today I got started transferring (or rather learning how to transfer) my MIDI drums from Ableton Live Lite to Reaper.
Every time I open Reaper makes me want to recommend it more. Ableton Live Lite has quite a limited way of working with multi-track MIDI
I can easily set up and mix each element of the drum kit individually in Reaper. For some reason I never figured out how or if Ableton Live Lite can even do that. You'd think it would, since it's such an essential thing, but just the fact that it's limited to 8 tracks total makes me think it simply can't.

Every time I open Reaper, I'm more and more thankful that I decided to put the effort into really learning it. Best DAW hands down.

I used Reaper myself until 2016, then I went to university for Film & TV where they taught us basically everything in the Adobe Creative Cloud. They had a contract with them.
So I ended up using Adobe Audition for a whole decade simply because I knew how to use it better than Reaper. So many regrets. I'll be diving into tons of Reaper tutorials over the next few months.
