Day 5 - Bass and Soundproofing

I hate to continue being so cryptic, but today I absolutely nailed a bass part for one of my songs that I found particularly frustrating and even a bit painful three years ago when I first wrote it.

I hadn't played it in a long while and I guess I've improved since then? It's still far too early for me to be sharing bits of the actual songs, but I hope the clip above makes this longish read worth your while.

The only other thing I did today was to work on my long list of soundproofing and construction-related questions. I have a professional coming tomorrow to evaluate the water damage on the ceiling of my garage and give me some advice on fixing it up before I call in the soundproofing people. Things are slowly moving along.
