Just picked up a Proform Studio Pro 22 for on their recent sale, got it today and put it together and everything seems to be working just fine outside of this one major issue. The workout stats just don't seem to be anything within the realm of reality or close to my norms. For reference, my old bike is a Nautilus that is just getting up there in age and only went up to level 20 on resistance. On that bike my normal workouts are 30-45 minutes between resistance 16-20. I can do a mile in about 9-10 minutes and a 30 minute ride is normally 350-400 calories depending on how much I push it. My average speed is usually between 17-20 mph, which lines up fairly close to what I get when I do road/mountain biking.

Enter the Proform and iFit. I decide to jump into the Bermuda beginner series and five minutes into the first workout I had to push it all the way up to resistance 20 to even feel any kind of resistance. Even at that stage it's registering my top speed at 11.5 mph with 58-60 rpm which doesn't reflect the effort going into pedaling. My actual RPM was probably somewhere between 75-80. It's also saying I'm burning 600 calories for a 16 minute ride which is nowhere near accurate for the speed/distance traveled and a 16 minute ride is also only 3-4 miles which in reality and on my older bike that would be at least 5-6 miles on my other bike. It's also giving me watts in the 600-700 range.

If I go into the manual workout, I get stats much closer to what they should be, I can put it on 20-24 and feel like I'm actually putting in effort and it registers a top speed around 18 mph with rpms over 80 and feels more like what it should. Are the beginner workout stats on screen just set to a fixed number where your inputs aren't actually reflected or is the bike having a problem? Is there any way to calibrate the bike or a setup step I might have missed that would be causing such a crazy variance in workout stats? Just seems odd that the actual workout and manual workout would have such a huge difference in feedback and accuracy of stats.
