What are the most unique facts about PEI?

I was told by a PEI person that the soil there's red.

That there were no such thing as PEI potatoes which don't have red soil on them.

& that all the "PEI" potatoes they saw elsewhere, which definitely didn't have any red soil on them, were obviously misrepresented.

Don't know to what degree that's true, but it sure blew their stack..
