Zelenskyy says this every time any other country is in crisis. He’s said it about Gaza before and now it’s about Iran and the Levant. Weird exceptionalist mindset.

Rather than condemning the US and Israel’s invasion for being pointless violence, he chooses to focus specifically on the side effect of having American military resources diverted? Really tone-deaf.

He's prioritising the country he's sworn to protect, no surprise there.

It's a thin line he's walking. Criticizing the US actions will undoubtedly result in a temper tantrump, reducing military support even further.

If he can't condemn the war, he should simply say nothing. He didn't have to express admirstion for Israel a colonial power similar to Russia either. Israel has no sanctions on Russia and voted multiple time against UN esolutions benefitting Ukraine
