It doesn't look it, but this bag is partially 3D Printed

So I wanted a bag which glows. This lead me down a weird rabbit hole that ended up with 3D printing TPU on top of cloth with a hole cut out of it.

The process was fun and it came close to the original design. Though I would made a lot of changes if I was to make this again.

I also made a TPU foam insert for the strap. Worked well.

Edit: more photos of the bag

This is awesome!! The whole "3d printing onto fabric" thing is crazy!!!! Instantly made me wanna start in the hobby by the stuff I've seen people make.

It’s the learning cad and having good special awareness which really benefits it. Not many others doing this

Could you post different photos? I don't know what I'm looking at? I see a phone/tablet with some sketches.

Concept of the bag on the left, bag on the right.

I'd also like more pictures of the bag. 😁

That's surprisingly cool. How durable is it? How does it feel to the touch?

How does it feel to touch? It feels good it’s a bag. The plastic makes it feel stiff but yeah it’s nice.

Is it durable? No clue, feels like it is but I can’t tell until I’ve used it for a while. That said, the plastic nor the stitched edge on the plastic isn’t going to be the weakest link.
