There's a tram every 15 minutes in summer, and every 20 minutes in winter. They go up to 70 kph outside of urban areas. They're very clean and well maintained by (global) public transport standards. Sadly tram and bus drivers are often the target of physical violence, typically when trying to enforce fare collection and proper conduct by the passengers.

Unfortunately, you can't take the hole 67 km in one go. You have to change in Ostende. So effectively it's two lines that are much shorter.
