Chen fell asleep on a tree branch. She looks like a mouse here. Probably author intended it this way. Would have helped if it was in a better quality.

I think it's the sleeping posture. Cats & mice curl up to preserve heat during naps. And this posture looks even weird from a bipedal perspective. Chen is crushing her right lung and leaning left: she might fall leftward when her body gasps for more air.
