Day 9 of working on my album "Murky Mind" and the infrastructure around it
Today was derailed by good but intimidating news
I've just found out I may have an extra floor built on top of my garage. Long story short, this means I may soon have a space nearly twice the size of the garage that I can soundproof. That's because it turns out it's actually not prohibitively expensive to raise it (just the basic structure for now)
I had previously planned for this extra floor but was not expecting it to happen for years to come due to uhm... how ridiculously poor I am (I'm getting help with all these expenses, folks).
The intimidating part? Actually finishing and soundproofing this larger space is quite the expense. That's where the "for years to come" is. So while the garage will likely be the first home of the No Outlines band, it's now becoming a reality that I might have a space that actually looks like a proper studio someday.
Fingers? Crossed. Belt? Tightened. Hopes? Kinda high.
