People live in places that are pleasant. It's why Silicon Valley billionaires threatening to leave California over the proposed wealth tax is ridiculous. It would take decades to move the industry and talent pool out of there. Plus the tax is based on where they lived on Jan. 1, 2026, so they're already on the hook.
