Even better, that area of the world isn't under the defense pact. When portuguese provinces in India were attacked in a full blown military invasion, NATO didn't step in. At the time those provinces were an integrant part of a NATO country, not a "territory" neither a colony.
NATO is not an offensive pact. And even if it fucking were a fucking offensive pact, if you want your allies to join in your fucking military campaign, you fucking ask for them to do it, before you fucking do it. Fuck.
