Positive deposits are a great tool when you're in a relationship with a power dynamic like a teacher with students or a boss with employees. A sticker chart to get the pizza party is something we are all familiar with.
Where this falls apart is when it's a relationship that is supposed to be based on equality and shared responsibilities. It inherently assigns the power and authority to one side, the wife/mother in this case.
In my opinion, the only way a thing like this works is a straight up competition. Both their names need to be earning stickers and there needs to be a single prize to be won. BJs go both ways.

If, for some reason, you can't see how psycho this is, just flip gender.

Seems like a joke to me

The line about not throwing away a favorite shirt makes it seem like parody to me

I don't know how anyone can look at this and think it's deadly serious. It's just a couple having a laugh.

From their facial expressions it appears that the guy is on the giving end of the beej and not the receiving

Is she really incentivizing giving kids bulimia? Or just shaken baby syndrome?

It’s also one of the easiest tasks on the chart

Depends on the kids age and sickness... I'd rather wash dishes or put the toilet seat down (wtf)

My lad was a projectile vomitter and he didn't know he was going to be sick until it started spurting out of him.
We lost a stair carpet thanks to that.

I feel the week of not nagging is less likely going to happen than the BJ.

You laugh, but I've seen this kink in the wild. Some people get off on the misery and domination (and not just the dom).
morrowind@lemmy.ml · 8 pts · 3y
Nah man, not actual misery. Dominatiom relies on a mutual understanding and enjoyment.
