i absolutely love when you post receipts for how much engagement her shit actually gets. the closer we look, the more clear it becomes that this whole thing is a house of cards. there is literally more engagement on reddit than there is on some of her content. absolutely love to see it.

While many of us struggled with our appearance at that time. She was posting perfect curated photos of herself on her Instagram main feed and stories. At the same time, she spoke about authenticity and said she doesn't use face-altering filters or Photoshop. She raised the bar of what we should look like. What a new mom should look like. It was all fake.
Below are screenshots from the video of #thebirdspapay canoeing in 2021, compared with some of her posts from 2021. She looks very different. Sarah Nicole Landry will claim lenses, angles, makeup, lighting, or she may say I wasn't posing in the canoe. It's all lies.
Look at her face shape, her neck size, and her eye size. Her eyes are super hooded in the canoe video. The craziest part is that there is STILL a very obvious filter on the canoe video. The filter clicks on as she approaches the camera and glitches. The filter then raises her brows slightly.
Sarah has always edited and filtered, and she has also had a lot of work done on her face. Without a doubt, she's had an eyelift. She is the most inauthentic person ever.

I'm warming up to Shane. Sarah has narcissistic/histrionic tendencies. There is a chance Shane is a big people pleaser and was manipulated. 100% agree, it makes me feel so much better knowing there are thousands of other people out here who can see what we can. i’ve said it here on lemmy before and i’ll say it again - i increasingly believe there are more of us (people who see the truth behind bird and others like her) than there are actual followers. reddit gets way more action and engagement than most of bird’s posts, unless she’s showing her naked body and/or her kid (highest engagement is when she combines the two, which is completely fucked up). besides the semi-nudes and the child exploitation, im pretty sure most of her engagement comes from bots, snarkers and pervs. i also think her and her minions get off on our snarking.

i totally understand and respect this decision, the instagram person crossed a line posting people’s faces and their handles. what the actual fuck is wrong with them? we are trying to gather in PRIVATE online spaces to discuss the harms and tactics of these fucking influencers, leave us the fuck alone! get. a. life!!!! these private spaces are kind of all we have, because when we try to find accountability or even question things in public online spaces, we are silenced. there is ZERO accountability for the manipulation and exploitation these people call their career. anyways. i get it, i trust the mods of that sub they have been excellent, and i look forward to rejoining y’all whenever im let back in. for now, i do also love the lemmy community and grateful to be here with you all.

100% agree, it makes me feel so much better knowing there are thousands of other people out here who can see what we can. i’ve said it here on lemmy before and i’ll say it again - i increasingly believe there are more of us (people who see the truth behind bird and others like her) than there are actual followers. reddit gets way more action and engagement than most of bird’s posts, unless she’s showing her naked body and/or her kid (highest engagement is when she combines the two, which is completely fucked up). besides the semi-nudes and the child exploitation, im pretty sure most of her engagement comes from bots, snarkers and pervs. i also think her and her minions get off on our snarking.
