Hello! Excited to meet others who would like to talk about anarchic theory and praxis!
Have you been reading or watching any interesting thoughts lately?
I've been jamming on ismatu Gwendolyn today. They are taking political imagination and trying it out in practice and while I wouldn't say they're a strict anarchist, they are certainly trying to practice something that looks more like anarchy than most things I see! https://www.threadings.io/
I like their musings on risk. I think about risk a lot, but I tend to do it from the perspective of my training as a political economist who focuses on systemic racism. Risk gets presented as this neutral thing, but it's actually a socially constructed determination of how financial markets get to treat you. I like how ismatu Gwendolyn thinks about risk as a social construct and how they articulate the ways that realizing this has shaped their life (in ways that seem to baffle observers sometimes, it seems). I will need to read more of their writing :)
Anway! That's what I'm jamming on at the moment. What are you jamming on?
