It's fascinating but jarring to see lighting and detail so representationally accurate next to a traditionally iconic anime eye rendered at the same degree of realism. That eyeball would be nearly the size of her brain! Still, I get that the 'surface realism' is just an artistic flex here, and it is impressive.
