I'd like a metronome with the ability to give a count-in and quit, just to start a tune at the right tempo.
So you'd select a tempo, say 120, and then click a "count-in" button or similar, and you get something like a 1.. 2.. 1 2 3 4 count in, but it doesn't keep ticking after that.
There are a lot of metronomes on FDroid, anyone know if one of them does this?

Yes one of them does this (found it when I needed a métronome some times ago).
Don't remember which but at least know your search will be fruitful.

no but you can literally ask ai like lovable for instance and ask it to make you this metronome app
