Some other instance posted about defederating another due to some bug and the type/length/nesting of a user's content causing crash and restart. I'm not sure if this is at all related to the same root cause.
I've been thinking whether it might be mbin that's the issue and a move to a piefed instance would be better for everyone. Jerry will have to chime in though.
That's one problem, but I've been having problems for days. I can't be the only one. The problems are clearly related to updates. There's usually no option to go to the next page anymore. And when there is an option for it, it runs out after only a few pages. What's going on? I don't want to quit mbin but it hasn't been working.
Edit: As of this moment, there is a next button but only for three pages.
I’m getting the same issue, I have endless scrolling turned on and after the 3rd “page” it just says that I reached the end with a back button and home button
What do you mean where? fedio.io. All of it. Sometimes there is a home icon to return to the first page and sometimes there's nothing. Just the option to go back a page.
I've been figuring this is a bug related to the rollout of a new feature, since there previously weren't these icons to go forward and back a page, or to go home.

Same. Super slow yesterday evening my time (at least 15 or 16 hours ago as I write) and since this morning it mostly 504s.

It's been barely working for days. I've switched to lemmy and piefed until/unless it starts working again.

looks like mbin had a bunch of stuck postgres queries. I don't know for sure that will completely fix it, but it was certainly an issue
