Title says season 1! Kinda wish Moirraine wasn't able to fight the Myrddraal. Feel like she shouldn't be match without her connection to the source.

I don't mind her fighting the mydraal, that's whatever. But why is she shielded in the first place? Why is that improving the story ?

Honestly, I'm mostly confused--it's like watching an AU with WOT characters. I think I'm watching it at face value now as its own unique storyline and have given up on trying to see Jordan's plot.
