Are you a "keep the box" person or a "throw the box away" person?

keep.

i can't explain, only rationalise.

It depends on what it is. Computer components, smartphone, TV and other "high tech" devices I will keep the boxes of because it makes it easier to sell and transport if needed. But for everything else I will throw them away.

Keep. You know, just until I know I'll be keeping the thing and won't be returning it. I'll totally remember to get rid of the box.

It started with computer components. When/if you resell, that crowd ALWAYS wants the box and will pay more.

And it's kind of spread...

Phone: keep. Everything else: DESTROY

Generally throw away but will keep for more expensive stuff to help with moving.

Keep only within specific, narrow size parameters. I want the right size boxes because I move frequently; not so small as to be inefficient, not so large they will be back-crushing when full. The rest are broken down and send to the recycling bin.

I tend to toss the box, at least after the store return period ends. My partner keeps them. We still have boxes for appliances that have been gone for years.

Just dont ask about jars 😪

If its collectable or if parts are expensive enough for me to care about the warranty.
