Nintendo recently hosted an investor relations event for investors to ask Nintendo questions about some of their plans for the future, and someone asked why female Splatoon 3 inklings/octolings are receiving 'preferential treatment'. It's apparently causing a lot of drama on Japanese Twitter, and Shintaro Furukawa interrupted their question to say it was too long and stated thanks for their opinion.
