Still undecided about using my coupon

Hi everybody,
since today is (afaik) the last day to be on batch 1, I would really appreciate to hear, why you decided for or against the Jolla Phone.

I wholeheartedly support F(L)OSS but I decided against it for now.
Mainly for three reasons:

  • I've read that the phone app is buggy for some users. Since I'm required to do phones calls regularly, that's a problem.
  • The closed source (non-exchangeable) UI feels odd for a device specific about privacy and digital independence.
  • It seems pretty stupid but being unable to use android widgets for apps missing an SFOS equivalent.

I keep the voucher and might decide to use it later, but as long as my current phone works, I'll keep it.

Thanks for your reply! Totally agree I'm not confident this is a convenient or at least OK solution atm although I really believe in this project!!

Funny, I have observed the exact upposite after the show in Barcalona. I have decided to preorder mine. The 12gb RAM option.
