I don't know, I'd need access to the feddit.online database to figure out why.

BTW the reason that post is getting downvoted so much is because it was made with AI. People hate that.

FWIW, even as a feddit.online admin, I don't see any comments on that post and it is showing two in the post teaser.

Can't read them even with the language filter removed. I don't know. Maybe something related to post privacy as in mastodon ?

I suspect there is a bug where the comment count is not re-calculated properly when a comment is deleted. Maybe.
