It might be that they done it without permission as anyway they don't operate on the US market so the repercussions would be almost none
But I don't understand the message that they wanted to convey, to me is like "We're not grifters, trust us with your hard earned money, here's a grifter endorsing us. Ah, BTW, 82% of our customers lose money when trading CFD, but surely you will be one of the winners"
