We have several heating pads scattered around the house for our cats to use. Occasionally our dogs will rest with their heads on them as well. Everyone likes a warm, comfy place to rest.
I got my friend's cat a heated cat bed because I noticed the cat sleeping on the laptop power brick because it was warm, and it promptly became that cat's favorite spot.

chewy has a heated cat bed that turns on only when the cat lays down in it. my boy loves it.
