In my experience, the "car guy" actually has pretty low driving ability. That's why he has to spend $1000/mo on insurance.

A fair number have reasonable driving ability but still drive outside it.

As a self-proclaimed driving enthusiast, this is 1000% true. lol

Also, i say all the time: being a "good driver" includes being a safe and attentive driver—not just being capable of speeding.

I would send this to my bi menace ex but it'd probably piss her off and make her crash lol

AI_toothbrush@lemmy.zip · 5 pts · 131d

Ehhhhh not really a bike guy. I completely understand and accept the hobby but its not my thing. Cars are where its at for me.

Car guy gets more autistic the higher up they go but don't have to social support in their lives to be allowed anything except allistic behavior so they mask all the time which makes them tired and standoffish. Car guys like analog puzzles. Engines are like Rubiks cubes that go vroom.

Then why is ever subaru I see driven by a man or a straight couple? They said that was the lesbian car.

Tyrq@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 14 pts · 131d (3 replies)

Depends on the Subaru, impreza with fart cannon? Dude trying to court ladies. Outback Forester? Lady wearing flannel to the wedding

possumparty@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 130d

outback driver here- i see so many old people driving foresters and outbacks. the younger queer people i see in subarus are usually in a crosstrek now. it's definitely not the rule, but it's it's definitely a majority

FosterMolasses@leminal.space · 1 pts · 130d

Outback Forester

Fuuuuuck, why are these so specific and accurate lmaoooo

Get out of my house bwahahahaha

KaRunChiy@fedia.io · 1 pts · 130d

But what if I have a first gen forester? What does that make me?

FosterMolasses@leminal.space · 3 pts · 130d

My friends in college knew I was gay before I did because of my love of Subarus.

I wish I could contest it but I can't. Same with cuffed pantlegs and inhaling hummus. Must be something biological lol
