Oh yeah, the QL-A2 works like a dream, and it's the oldest piece in my setup, from 1979. I polished the lid recently to get rid of some scratches — it feels very good to bring back its former glory.
And it plays well with different carts and styli, too. I'm using an Ortofon OM 10 at the moment, and it's head and shoulders above the OEM one.

Right? The drummer is Geoff Barrow from Portishead. Or was, I think he quit Beak recently, after 3-4 albums together.
