In this context, "lost" means they died, not just wounded. The wounded add another million to the casualty total for Russia.

I hope they find them

Well they didn't just grow legs and walk away!

Sometimes I lose my soldiers down the back of the sofa. Have they tried looking there?

It's not a good thing to make fun. I did have at least a couple of friends who were from there who I will miss. I assume people who are ruzzian certainly miss their friends and family who went to war and didn't comeback. The war is evil like that. But you know who didn't miss them? I mean, certainly they don't miss them and didn't miss them. Sorry for the pun.

I don't miss any of the evil ones who get in the military just to hurt others. But I certainly may miss all those who didn't wanna go and were forced to go. But if I'm forced to go by our Orange puddle in chief, well I'll certainly won't be missing any of them. Unless they don't miss me.

Last time I read 1.25mil. So what is true?

ManixT@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 101d

Seems like they're saying these are actual deaths vs the >1.25m casualties, which includes debilitating injuries in addition to deaths.

To lose one soldier, Mr. Putin, may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose 350000 looks like carelessness.
