I hope they announce they are working on it, and it becomes a launch title for Switch 2 — along with WaveRace, baybeee. We need to be racin’ them waves.
I recently acquired Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (I only recently got a switch) and the couple of F-Zero tracks there have made me wish for a game of this series to come out. Pleaaase
My guess is that it might be some DK stuff coming in the next Mario Kart DLC
But I'm hoping it's more! I know there has been rumor of a DK game being done by Nintendo EPD...

I would even be 100% satisfied with a remaster of F-Zero GX. That game is a masterpiece.
