Emily Mango posted the letter on social media and called it "horrific" and "reprehensible." She told Foxx directly: "You crossed a line when you attacked a child and attacked teachers. You don't deserve to be on a Committee for Education when you talk to children like this and think so lowly of teachers. No wonder NC is 50th in education funding level under your 'leadership.'"

Foxx, who voted for the spending bill that the Congressional Budget Office projected would add $3.4 trillion to the national debt, told a 10-year-old that he and his classmates would be responsible for paying it down.

You might have old Chuckie-boy as your rep but at least you do not have the ghoul called Foxx.

I don't support age limits, but I do support term limits for Congress.

I support age limits.

I have little problem with the elderly being involved in business, charitable organizations, or the private sector. But, as elected representatives, they are supposed to represent our interests.

I want to retire some day. I want my representatives to understand and share that value. This fossil is 17 years past a reasonable retirement age. She does not value "retirement". She values "working yourself into the fucking grave".

That reprehensible attitude colors her opinion on everything else. She looks down on the rest of us for wanting to not have to work forever. We're all lazy bastards, while she is virtuously sacrificing to "serve" us.

The statutory age limit on running for electoral office should be pegged to the retirement age. If they want to continue working past a specific age, they should explain to the public why they are raising the retirement age, and suffer the voting wrath of the AARP.
