Can someone explain this to me? They are resigning because they have lost support because they downed the in Ukrainian drones to protect Russian oil facilities and they landed in Latvia causing fires?

Is that the correct understanding? They put their country in danger to help Russia?

She lost support for trying to put blame on a someone from a different party in her coalition. This broke the coalition anyway.

They didn't put their country in danger. Drones flew into their country and they didn't react quick enough if it had been an actual attack.

No, It's more like pre election drama. The drone fell, it was not downed. And everyone is blaming each other why the detection alarms did not go off when the drone was approaching.
