My thoughts exactly. Kamala should be off the table. I don't care what the polls say. She lost. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice JUST STOP TRYING TO MAKE KAMALA HAPPEN

But but but but the fever's gonna break any day now. This was all just a temporary fluke, we definitely don't need to make any structural changes or ask ourselves any hard questions. /s

This is very much the case for AOC right now.
In order to have even a chance of taking this country back from the plutocrats, whoever runs has to overcome not just the Republicans, but the controlled opposition "moderates" who are predictably pimped by the plutocrat-backed DNC and Dem establishment, and at this point in history, AOC is the only one who could do that.

No one currently running for a position this November (like every house rep) would give an answer for a '28 run. Why does media spend so much time acting like that's worth writing a story about?

Shapiro’s a good governor but he doesn’t have the showmanship for a presidential campaign.

I'd still rather see her take Schumers seat. Either her or or Warren, but Warren is getting old and should really be paving the way for her own successor right now.
