Boycott it or not, fact is a banger of a song won and did so while dunking with a huge lead over Israel. Also Israel was roundly booed by the audience when it was revealed they're in the top of (totally not gamed) televote again, so that's a win as well.

i am curious to hear it, but am not going to increase the view count by clicking that link. (hopefully the boycott leads to substantially lower viewership than other years...)

does anyone have a reupload, preferably on some file hosting site which doesn't publish view counts?

FYI: the link leads to a bit from a Farther Ted episode, not the (actual) winning song, probably in reference to Ireland airing that instead( guardian , independent )

Not actually heard the winning song yet myself, nor any of them this year. Maybe I'll check them out from the artists' pages or something eventually.

i see, thanks.

from that guardian link:

The decision prompted condemnation on Tuesday from Graham Linehan, one of the show’s creators, who accused RTÉ of using the show as “a tool of antisemitic harassment” and said it was an “act of pointed, gleeful counter-programming”.

of course sitcom-writer-turned-professional-transphobe Graham Linehan would also be a zionist, that tracks 🤦

Graham Linehan has turned into such a toxic tool. Can't believe it's the same guy who made some of the most hilarious TV comedies a couple of decades ago.
