There are a number of people in my life that I earnestly wish would give me a heartfelt apology. I've explicitly told them precisely what they did to wrong me and have cut them out of my life for years and decades now without the first hint of an honest heartfelt apology.
They have asked me to just get over it, but they have not begun to even consider apologizing for their actions.
Yeah same with my mom. She started a kind of formal mediation process with my sis and I but she never apologized, or even just recognized what she has done wrong so I'm sure that's gonna be productive...
