Ron Howard Put Real Actors in Real Fire in Backdraft. 35 Years Later, Nobody’s Done It Since

There was a ride (maybe not even a ride, but like a show or experience?) at universal studios in Hollywood. I fucking hated every moment of it. I was young, maybe 10 or so, but being in a closed room surrounded by actual fire was not a thing I enjoyed. It was crazy hot in there too (ya know from the fire everywhere). I wonder if I'm just misremembering because I was a scared child, but that ride is one of the only ones of my childhood I ever regretted going on and were there an opportunity to do it again, I'd have probably passed.
