I made 4 leaders for my next trip to go trout fishing. I used 6lb fluorocarbon attached to a swivel and a hook. I wrapped those around a scrap piece of cardboard with notches cut into it and put it into a plastic case reused from some lures I got. It was satisfying to do it, because I know that it will save me some time when I'm at the lake fishing

Sounds like you did a menial task to prepare to sit on a lake and do mostly nothing for several hours. Top tier dullness. Thank you for the excellent content, good sir.

I thought about this several times as I was doing it. It didn't diminish how nice it felt to do it though, which surprised even me

I relate to that when carefully rolling up strings of Christmas lights for next year's use. A mighty feeling.

Instead of cardboard have you seen the pool noodle setups?

I just searched it. I've never seen that. What a great idea! Thanks for mentioning that! I'm going to try it

Preparing to fish can be a bit dull, but it's spiritual preparation for the art of fishing. Only those with the holy fishing fever can understand. 07
