That 90mm is nice. I have the 60mm. I've not really liked the results from the in camera stacking. I'm thinking of buying a 3rd party stacking software.
I've had some success with the in-camera focus stacking, though it can be limiting and a bit frustrating in poor lighting. When that doesn't work I use focus bracketing and stack the images with Hugin (it's free and open source).

I'll have to check that software out. I was looking at Zerene stacker, but I'll for sure check this out first.
