Cats actually have hair sensors all over their bodies and sometimes prefer something more solid than soft. Where it offers a unique physical experience for them to feel in. Cats are kinda cute little creatures that tend to be misunderstood a lot. Anyway imagine just like a statically charged box or whatever because it makes all the hair over your body feel nice lol.

i have so many beds for my cats, and instead they will often lay in cardboard boxes. Cats, amirite.
