Really effective expression and example of a complex dynamic that I think is hard for a lot of people to wrap their heads around. Props to this guy for posting this kind of thing on tiktok where I'm sure its met with a lot more foolishness than here. I love that he specifically calls out the rebuttal about it getting things started. Getting things started is no good if it also shuts them down. The sad thing is even a lot of the corpo system-preserving participants in these things probably truly don't see how they're playing that role.

Anyways, yeah, what a great speech this was.

And this is why they televise the marches and not the Minneapolis general strike.

Because general strikes threaten the ruling class's money and show the working class the kind of power they have.

If only we could see general strikes the size of the No Kings march.
