It's not like these games ever had day 1 PC releases. I think Sony and Disney will have discussions about promoting the upcoming X-Men movie via a PC release but that's a bunch of years in the future.
If Disney have a commercial interest in promoting their failing MCU movies through a rerelease on PC of the existing Wolverine game, they might hammer out a deal. Announcements were reversed for lesser things in the past,
I read what you said, and historically what you said is true, where a game will come out and be exclusive to Playstation for a few years before releasing on PC, but they have confirmed that they won't do that anymore. Maybe you are right and they will change their minds, but it doesn't negate the fact that they said they won't.
The worst part was is that they WERE developing it for PC due to the existence of the leaked alpha
All console games are initially developed on Windows PC. Back in GameCube days Nintendo even forgot to delete the Windows version of Pikmin from the release image: https://tcrf.net/Pikmin_(GameCube)/Windows_Executable
Let's hope Insomniac are back on form after the disappointing Spider-Man 2. Not that it really matters now Sony has run away from PC. I'm never buying a PlayStation again with how they've treated customers the past few generations.
I remember it being received pretty favorably. Personally, it was too close to Miles and I was burnt out on the formula. But I did buy it later on sale and remember it being more spiderman. Good, but didn't really expand on the original enough to make it great. Metacritic shows 90 critic 86 user score, so that seems pretty well liked to me.

Maybe read more carefully what I wrote. I'm aware what Sony said and I said that things can change a couple of years down the road.

Dude, it's not a legally binding contract. All I wrote boils down to basically "wait and see".

And all I said is "they said they won't" with an article saying they won't ¯\(ツ)/¯ why are you mad?

Feels very similar to the Xmen Wolverine Origins game and that's a really gpod thing.

Sounds like a weird Belarusian bootleg of Gmod.

Is the guy that wrote Spec Ops The Line still heading the story for this?
I don’t have a PS5 but I may give this a stream if that’s the case.

The blood is excessive, and then just fades away leaving him looking waxy again.
Either be bloody and messy, or tone it down a tad.
Hate it when developers ruin the immersion... /S

Spider-Man 2 was disappointing?

No DLC
Mongostein@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 96d
That makes the game disappointing?

It’s always funny when people drop their wildly off base opinions as public truth.
